With over 41K views, it seems people keep coming back to this 3 minute psoas stretch video for hip and low back pain relief.
It’s perfect to try at the end of the day, after a flight or after a workout (especially if you run or bike) to relieve an achey back and stiff, tight hips.
All you need is a foam roller (a yoga block will work too). The more firm and dense the roller is, the stronger the stretch will be (the pressure on your back will also be increased, so if your back is very sensitive, a softer roll can be nice).
So what is the Psoas?
What does it have to do with hip and low back pain?
