"Healthy. Happy. Taking it day by day". . . that's my response when loved ones have checked in and asked "how are you doing?" these past few weeks.
It's been a wild ride. Unexpected and unprecedented. Some days I feel optimistic and calm, energized to use this time to do all the things I said I would do when I had the chance, like (finally) updating my website and creating more online videos. Other days I feel overwhelmed and anxious and end up cleaning out the closet (again) in an effort to attempt purpose and control in the midst of chaos.
We'll get through. When? Who knows. What will normal even look like in that new world?
Day by day, we'll get through. There will be heartbreak and frustration but there will also be moments of joy and connection. For now, I choose to focus on what I CAN do (rather than what I can't) and am SO excited to share some new offerings with you!! . . .

My first full length yoga and Pilates classes are now live on my YouTube channel!!!
Though many studios have chosen to use Zoom for live classes, I've personally preferred practicing privately (not sharing a screen), on my own schedule these days. For these reasons, I've chosen to use YouTube, making the videos accessible to you anytime (and without requiring any special app or login requirements).
I know I'm not the only one experiencing anxiety and financial hardship at this time. I hope that these videos provide an opportunity to ground and bring more ease back into your stiff joints and restless mind.

I've incorporated one of my favorite props - the foam roller for some extra juicy stretching, fascial release and spinal mobilization (a.k.a. getting rid of that stuck feeling in your mid-back). No worries if you don't have one though, you can do these exercises simply lying on the floor.
